Thank you for finding your way here!
My name is Kerry Diana Manley, and I am passionate about helping people discover their brilliant potential, unstoppable self confidence, and lavish self-love!
I am dedicated to living a life full of wonder, magic, meaningful work, and exciting adventures. My work is multifaceted and ever evolving, but its main components involve a powerful pain relief technique called Kinetix™ Fascial Integration, as well as igniting personal empowerment through Feminine Remembrance groups and individual mentoring.
I believe strongly in the brilliance of our bodies, not only to guide us through pain and challenges as we learn to understand their fascinating language, but as a source of wisdom and joy in our lives.
I believe that in order to live our lives to our fullest potential and enjoyment, cultivating a positive relationship with our bodies is absolutely essential!
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles
through the desert, repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.
...Along with the other animals, the stones, the trees, and the clouds, we ourselves are characters within a huge story that is visibly unfolding all around us, participants within the vast imagination, or Dreaming, of the world.
~David Abram, The Spell of the Sensuous
Wisdom and Nourishment
As individuals on this beautiful and complex journey through life, we all find ourselves facing our own unique (and yet often collectively similar) set of challenges. Through the ups and downs of my journey I have become a collector of sorts, constantly seeking out and exploring new navigational toolsets and inspirational wisdom.
With me from birth has been the lineage of earthy, feminine, Celtic-esque wisdom of my mother and her close friends (my "aunties"), and I am utterly devoted to the continual exploration of this path. My hope is that this work can feed the souls of others as it feeds and enlivens mine, bringing us closer into harmony with ourselves and all of life.
Enter in one of my greatest teachers - my own body. She and I have been on a long and winding path together through dark places of disordered eating and negative body image, to the frustrating complexities of scoliosis and physical pain I did not understand, to the highs of flying through the air on a twirling trapeze and rediscovering delicious sensuality through bellydance. Although we often take it for granted, the experience of being in a body offers a vast amount of potential for growth, pleasure, and fulfillment in all areas of our lives.
My long list of inspirations and teachers is ever growing... Rumi's ecstatic poetry, Jungian psychology, body positive activism, mythology and spiritual traditions from around the world, martial arts, cosmology, physics, biology, integral philosophy and phenomenology... Studies, Trainings, and Certifications
I consider myself a lifelong learner, which occasionally leads to official pieces of paper being mailed my way... I graduated from the University of Colorado with a BA in ecology and evolutionary biology, and a minor in geological sciences. I am a certified Eating Psychology Coach with the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, and a certified Kinetix™ Fascial Integration Practitioner (website coming soon, but for now check out my incredible teacher Elisha Celeste at Boulder Pain Relief). I have studied as a Women's Healing Arts Teacher, and am currently working towards licensure as a Moon Temple Facilitator and Priestess within the Goddess Rising Moon Collective. I have attended several workshops in Enlightened Feminine Leadership and Creating Healthy Communities.
As a dancer, I have studied and performed bellydance in Colorado and Egypt, and have explored many other genres of dance including flamenco, salsa, swing, ecstatic dance, improvisational dance, modern, and aerial dance (specifically low flying trapeze). I have created and taught my own dance class (currently on hiatus), which aims to guide my students into wild, giggling, booty shaking freedom of movement and self love!
